Long before there was Bradley Mortgage, there was Brad and Jeanne - two people who met while working together at a small mortgage banking firm, both new to the mortgage business.
Bradley took a chance and asked Jeanne if she wanted to pass out mortgage refinance flyers together. What a first date! She said yes. Fortunately, she said yes again when he asked her to marry him.
What started with two young people learning the mortgage business together became a marriage, a family, more than two decades of mortgage experience, and eventually, Bradley Mortgage.
But the name Bradley Mortgage means much more to us than simply putting a name on a business. Bradley is a family name.
Bradley James is the fourth Bradley in his family, and his son, Bradley Jordan, is the fifth. The name represents generations of family and the values we want our company to carry forward - integrity, hard work, personal service, and relationships that last.
And now, the next generation is helping write the next chapter. It’s hard to believe how much has happened since launching Bradley Mortgage just six months ago!
Our family business has already grown. Our daughter, Holly Pappas, and our son, Bradley Jordan, have joined the company, bringing fresh ideas and a new perspective to the mortgage experience. Combined with decades of industry experience, we believe this next generation gives Bradley Mortgage something special.
And speaking of the next generation, our family is growing in another exciting way!
We have a new addition on the way - not a new employee...at least not quite yet! Holly and John, her husband, are expecting their first child, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome the newest member of our family.
Our oldest daughter, Lauren, chose a career in nursing caring for patients instead of mortgages, but she still left her mark on Bradley Mortgage. While creating our logo, Lauren suggested incorporating Bradley James’ well-known signature “B” as a silhouette in the design. It was the perfect idea - a personal touch that became part of our identity and another reminder that, in one way or another, every member of our family has helped shape Bradley Mortgage.
At Bradley Mortgage, being a small, family-owned mortgage brokerage isn’t something we’re trying to overcome. It’s one of our greatest advantages.
Leveraging Brad’s decades of experience – including five years serving as President and an owner of a well-respected mortgage banking firm with a 37-year history - we’ve intentionally built Bradley Mortgage to operate differently. We’ve eliminated layers of management compensation, costly corporate infrastructure, and expensive office space that can add unnecessary overhead. The result is a lean, efficient operation focused on our customers and their mortgage experience.
We don’t want to simply close your loan. We want to be the people you call when you have a mortgage question, need a second opinion, or have a friend or family member who needs someone they can trust.
